Ethical Goals
Mission and Values
My personal mission in the future looks different for the different aspects of my life. My mission for my beach volleyball career is to work as hard as I can and not quit when things get hard. I also want to focus on being supportive of the people around me and keep a positive attitude. In regards to my schooling I want to work on time management and make sure I am diligent and motivated with my work enough so that I never walk into a test feeling unprepared. Some core values I want to better instil in my life are honesty, hardwork, kindness.
Ethical leader
An ethical leader I admire is by beach volleyball coach at FSU, Brooke Niles. She motivates, pushes, and supports dozens of girls during a crucial part of their lives.
Ethics at SPC
While at SPC I used ethics with almost every decision I made. When I made the decision on whether or not to be the Lab assistant I thought about Mrs. Smickle and the help she needed with lab. When deciding classes I thought about if it was ethical to make the school pay for a class i had no need for.
Ethics in Enginering
Ethics in engineering deals with the different obligations engineers have to the society, clients, and the profession. It deals with honesty in claims, rejection of bribery, and quality of production. For electrical engineering in particular in deals with improvement of technical competence of the people around them. It also includes acknowledging and correcting errors, and giving credit to the contributors.
