LEADERSHIP
Roles
Service leadership is where the main goal of the leader is to serve. Servant leadership is important because it inspires the whole of the group to not only better themselves or their business, but to also better the world around them. This sort of mindset can make a leader think about the outcome of a decision on the world outside of their business rather than just how it could immediately benefit them.
Student Government
During my sophomore and senior year of high school I served on student government as the secretary. During these years I helped organize fundraisers and plan school dances.
Coach
For three years I coached elementary and middle school kids beach volleyball. I designed practice plans and coached them through different tournaments.
Student Leadership Team
For two years I was on my churches student leadership team. On this team I was in charge of planning when and where to go on our summer mission trips. I also planned different church events, and youth group parties.
